"If you are looking for a large workout class with tons of people in each class, this might not be for you. If you are looking for a crowded gym that is hot, sweaty, and smells like.... Crap.... This might not be the gym for you. If you are looking to just pay a monthly fee to be a number where no one knows your name and you sorta just come “do your thing”, this might not be the place for you. I came to Kettle Belle Fitness wanting to gain more then what I had. I was a cardio junky, often using the treadmills at the big boxed gyms, doing “my thing”. But the issue arose with strength. I simply had none at all. And that bothered me.
I remember it clear as day. I looked up kettlebells in my area and found Kettle Belle Fitness. I texted the owner, Karen, at 4:30 AM in the morning when I arrived at work. To my surprise, she texted back immediately. We started texting a little that morning and I had this inclination that we would get along well.
See, I am picky with my trainers. Maybe picky is not the right word. I am looking for certain qualities. More on that later.
Karen encouraged me to come to the Saturday morning beginner’s class. Her philosophy is to work with you away from the intermediate class so she can teach the fundamentals. And she did just that. I was nervous at first but we clicked. I loved her teaching style and outlook on life and training. That class was eye opening and it hooked me like a fish and a delicious worm. Fish on!
I started going to more and more classes and the atmosphere there at the gym was welcoming and very family like. We are family. The classes are intimate with a lot of one on one attention. The basic fundamentals are always stressed and each class delivers unique moves and sets that are challenging in the most welcoming way. Part of growth is challenging yourself, being challenged and working your way up. Karen is there with you each step of the way.
If you are looking for a gym that has a trainer that cares about you, your form, your performance and you as a person... this is the gym for you. If you are looking for a trainer who challenges you in the best of ways... Karen is the one you want to train under. If you are looking to take back your health, shed fat mass and increase muscle, flexibility, body change, and feed healthy vibes to your body and mind, this place is for you.

"Karen's exercise sessions are spirited, challenging, supportive and fun. She motivates each participant throughout, keeps the program going at a measured pace, and makes sure that everyone gets a great workout, within their own limits. She is always conscience of what your individual strengths and weaknesses are and each session is different from the last. ..never boring! She may incorporate Kettlebell, strength training, planking, aerobics, yoga or TRX into her sessions...always with stretching before and after each workout!
